Advanced Standing Pathways Through Partner Institutions

The RIT Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program has established articulation agreements with several colleges and universities to create a clear and efficient pathway to graduate study. Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree from one of these partner institutions with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are admitted to the RIT M.Arch program at RIT, will automatically qualify for placement in the RIT Master of Architecture Advanced Standing track.

  • Farmingdale State College – BS in Architectural Engineering Technology
  • Keene State College – BS in  Architecture
  • Penn College of Technology – BS in Architecture & Sustainable Design
  • University of New Haven – BFA in Interior Design + Pre-Architecture

This partnership provides an unique opportunity for students with relevant academic backgrounds to complete their master’s degree sooner. The Advanced Standing track is one year shorter than the standard program, requires 27 fewer credits, and reduces overall tuition costs by approximately 26%.
