We Create. We Design.
At Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), we are always on to something groundbreaking. Our online master of architecture (M.Arch.) program, offered through Golisano Institute for Sustainability, evokes students’ creativity and equips them with skills to design the sustainable buildings and communities of tomorrow.
Online Master of Architecture
RIT architecture online is one of the first master of architecture programs to be offered online in the United States. In the program, you will learn to design high-performance, sustainable buildings that speak to site, climate, context, and user needs. RIT also offers an on-campus pathway. Find more information about this option here.
We offer two plans of study:
Standard Pathway
For students with little to no experience in architecture.
Advanced Standing Pathway
For students with a bachelor’s degree related to architecture.
RIT architecture online fulfills the education requirements needed to pursue a career in architecture. In addition to completing the program, you will be able to pursue relevant experience and take the Architect Registration Examination to become a licensed architect. Requirements vary by state. Check your local licensure boards for specific requirements.
